California, Here We Come: SFTC heads to Los Angeles for Sci-Fest

Have you heard? Sci-Fest has landed in Los Angeles! Sci-Fest is the first annual science fiction play festival in L.A. Opening May 6, the festival has two nights (Evenings A and B) and runs through June 1st. The festival, created by producers Michael Blaha, David Dean Bottrell and Lee Costello, also contains a late-night comedy show. We have to say, we’re most excited about this, as our own artistic director, A. Vincent Ularich, has his show Future Boyfriend as part of the line up! Future Boyfriend was previously produced in 2012 by Fort Point Theatre Channel and in 2011 as part of a short play anthology Love in the Time of Time Travel, part of Oberon’s New Work series.

The festival includes many new plays, adaptions of classic tales, and numerous actors and directors you’ll recognize from film and television! The advisory board

Be sure to check out Sci-Fest on Twitter, Facebook and at their website. If you’re in the Los Angeles, head down to the Acme Theatre. This will not be something to miss. Maybe we’ll even see you there!
